Siao ehs food review is backu~

This time round we went to ...........................

Lunch is @ $19.80+++ for 6 courses.

A look at the menu ............... you can choose the dish from a few options for each course.

1. Starters - Potato gratin with toast, it is by default so you cant choose.

(you can request for more toast but not advisable for small eaters, ppl like ms sessi claims to be already full after the starter.)

2. Salad

a) Chicken Farmboy ...... I recommend this option~

b) Fruit salad - healthy choice

c) Prawn roll - said to not have the taste of prawn

3. Soup

a) Mushroom soup - creamy and fragrant, recommended unless you dun like shitake mushroom

b) Shark fin melon herbal soup - Highly recommended, tastes great and nutritious

c) Fish soup - YES THIS IS FISH SOUP ... AND NOT CHINESE TEA, we have to drink it using tea cup ... hahaha ... taste so -so only though ... so much for packaging

4. Main course

a) Baked prawn - not bad ..... good if you want smthing light ... hahaha

b) Pork ribs - meat is tender and soft .. recommended if you like meat!
c) Spicy stingray - recommended too .... meat is fresh and soft, not too hot

5. Drinks - there are a variety, i recommend fruit tea, nice and refreshing! It comes in a small jug

6. Dessert

a) Mango pudding

b) Poached pear - abit weird .... hahahaha

c) Chocolate Fondue - recommended! value for choice ... hahaha

Overall a place with good food and very good service, waiters are pretty attentive ... sometimes too attentive ... hahaha

we haf finally gave the last 2 b'dae gers of 2008 (miss clock n miss panda) their pressie

initially we wanted to deliver the ang bao to miss panda but she was too tired n needed to rest... Therfore, the best way....

and miss clock meet us after the jap klass for a movie... n when collecting the movie tix we gt a free packet of ang baos... So...

see the 5cents is contributed by one of the mr L... the 5 cents is there so tat he is the highest contributer. see this ang bao is so special... holds money n LOVE...

prize presentation was held outside DBS where we juz withdraw money for the ang bao... efficient rite? see de ang bao even sparkle coz its presented by superstar joling... intially was to be presented by de highest contributor (he contributed $30.05 while de rest contri $30 only) but he was too shy

aniwae they had a promotion.. order 2 dinner sets and u get a 3rd one free... haha after all de shopping we went starbucks to chill... ordered 2 drinks + ice water and look at the number of cups they gave us

haha... this tbl of food was cleared by the 3 veggies... we were so hungry tat no picture was taken when the food was intact... aniwae we had crab bee hoon, kang kong, pork rib and satay plus free jelly... miss korea even asked... enuff anot? wan order more?

Seeing that it's a chef recommendation, we decided to order it: Seafood Spaghetti Goreng
A personal fav of Joling!

Also tried the seared codfish
The wedges are fried to our satisfaction.... crispy!

And lastly, the dessert that fascinated Joling greatly...

Found the food to be alright, prices reasonable and to take a look at the 奇装异服 of the boss.... we brought Sessi, Chio Bu and LL there last Fri.... Hope they found the food nice =x

2 chiobus need to shop for their DnD costumes, and after that was dinner @ DOME. Siao Ehs highly recommend for its food and service. You will know why later on =x

While waiting for food ....

We chose 1 salad and 1 soup for appetisers and realised that it was actually a bad choice to order salad because the rest of the dishes are full of vegetables -.- we ate alot of greens that day ... hahahaha

Let's start the ball rolling with penang local delicacies.

Self explanatory: Penang Char Kway Tiao ... there are about 4 plump prawns inside ... nice! On the salty side compared to Singapore's version where sugar is added.

BBQ chickennnn wingssss! Similar to Singapore's version .... nice too ... and cheaper ... hahahaha

Lol ... wana guess wat is this???!!? Its the LEGENDARY PENANG LAKSA !!!-.-!!!

I wouldnt recommend this =X But some actually say its nice o.0. If u want to eat laksa, u can choose penang curry noodle instead, its more similar to singapore laksa ... hahahahaha

Let's move on to seafood

Yes laa my favourite lala aka white clams.... bt its cooked in salty sauce o.0 ...nt spicy ): ... taste abit weird ... lol
